Introducing our New Website: Cross Links, Enhanced Profiles
![]()
Have you noticed something new about our site? That’s right, we’ve updated! We think you will be really pleased with all the new features that we have integrated into the new site and Arkayne Plugin. We have spent the last few months listening to your feedback and suggestions and almost everything we have brought to the table came directly from your requests.
A New Look
The Arkayne website has been reorganized to give you only the information you need, based on what questions our users usually ask before installing the Arkayne Plugin. “What It Does” gives you an overview in simple English of why you would want Arkayne and what it does for your site, accompanied by demos and answers to the questions our users ask most frequently. Regardless of what we say about the Arkayne Plugin, we know that testimonials from other actual users are a major part of your decision, so that’s what you’ll see in “What They’re Saying”. We give you an express path to help in “Get Support” which offers a gateway to our user forum, contact form, and answers to most common problems.

Enhanced Profiles
We’ve supercharged your website profile at Arkayne. Under “My Account” you’ll find all kinds of new functionality to make it easier for people to find you and your site.

Once you’ve logged into “My Account” you’ll be able to create a username as well as a description of your site. We have also enhanced your profile photo capabilities, simple upload a photo and we’ll help you crop it. You can also preview how your profile will look to other users (and yes, we’re aware it looks a lot like what a certain little birdy told us you may be used to).

Cross Links
If you are an currently an Arkayne user then you already know that the Arkayne Related Posts Plugin is the best way to get truly related post links at the bottom of your posts. We don’t look at tags or meta data, instead we examine every single word on your page, except for ads and javascript, and compare that to every other word in every other post and find the most contextually relevant matches (technically we do read your meta data but only so we have a title and description to display on your profile page). Now we are taking it a step further by allowing you to create a trusted network of sites that you connect to. Connect to friends, news sources, and other media with ‘CrossLinks”. So now you’ll see InnerLinks and CrossLinks at the bottom of your posts.

When visitors view your site they will now see a link at the bottom of your suggested links that says “Links by Arkayne” which takes them to your profile page, and from there they can easily follow you. This is where you can view suggestions to other relevant profiles of which you may choose to follow in your CrossLinks.
That’s just an overview of the changes we have made and we still have a number of improvements in the hopper to deliver within the next few months. Look over the site and be sure to leave your thoughts below; your feedback drives our product development.
