Arkayne Now Does RSS and Search

We recently made a few changes to the Arkayne Plugin to make it a much more powerful social media asset.  We have had significant user feedback regarding RSS reader presence as well as ability to search and connect with other Arkayne users.  Mostly users coming back and saying things like…

Arkayne, great service, but how about making it easier to connect up with people when I sign up?

To that end our team at Arkayne is releasing the first steps towards improving the ability to connect with others at registration.  Although still in very early Beta, meaning we’re only telling people who follow this blog, the Arkayne Search Feature allows anyone to quickly look up people to recommend.  This new feature highlights the importance of having an up to date profile that truly captures your site.  The search feature even allows you to recommend people not in your topic, which is handy if really must recommend your friends blog on Phoenix Permaculture Guild and their upcoming December 5th event Tour de Coops.

What if most of my blog readers are syndicating my content through RSS readers?

The other great feature is that Arkayne now supports links in your RSS feeds.  That means that all those RSS readers out there sucking up your content now show more relevant links to your other posts than ever.  If you’ve been thinking about how to leverage your syndicated content, the new Arkayne plugin is your answer.  Just like on your posts, the plugin shows a handful of relevant content links from your sites and those you recommend in your RSS feed.  With the “Recommend Me On Arkayne” button on every RSS feed, Arkayne allows you to grow your audience no matter where your content is shown.
